~ Hoya acicularis ~

An odd looking species with long, narrow leaves. It is often named Hoya teretifolia, but this is not that species.

~ Hoya acuta variegated IML 1578 ~

I bought this one from David Liddle in 2006. It has grown quite well and now I am just waiting for it to flower.

~ Hoya albiflora (IML0299) ~

Still just a cutting in my collection. More info will come...

~ Hoya aldrichii ~

I don't now much about this one. It has grown quite slowly for me.

~ Hoya angustisepala ~

This is a hoya with thin leaves, so I try not to let it dry completely. I got it in 2007, but it has grown quite fast and is already a big plant. It reminds of Hoya coriacea, Hoya fraterna etc.

~ Hoya archboldiana ~

I took this picture at a hoya meeting in June this year. The flowers are really magnificent!

~ Hoya archboldiana 'Albomarginata'~

This is a nice variegated form of Hoya archboldiana. It grows much slower than the plain green one and I guess I'll have to wait some years before I'll see any flowers in this plant. But I don't mind, because it is very decorative anyway!

~ Hoya archboldiana 'YM Excellent' ~

This Hoya archboldiana has magnificent leaves. They are over 20 cm long and very thick. This is definitely one to have!

~ Hoya ariadna ~

An eriostemma which requires a lot of light, warmth and high humidity to get in bloom.

~ Hoya australis subsp. australis ~

This is a pubescent form of Hoya australis. It has very thick leaves. I have had it for a few years, but it is a slow grower for me so it still is a small plant.

~ Hoya australis subsp. australis (white edges) ~

Another slow grower. This is a variegated form of Hoya australis subsp. australis.

~ Hoya australis subsp. tenuipes ~

One of the more common hoyas in trade at the florist's. It is easy to grow and a good choice for the beginner as it grows fast and is quite easy to get in bloom.
