Hoya brevialata is in my opinion best suited for the hanging basket. It has climbing abilities but he leaves are quite thick and heavy so the branches hang neatly down anyway. It is easy to grow, tolerates drought and grows quite fast. The only problem I have with it is that I have not managed to get it in bloom! So, the flowers pictured above is from The Göteborg Botanical Garden.

The leaf shape is either circular or oval. They are convex, light green and slightly pubescent.
