Hoya collina (sp. Biak IPPS4526)

Schlechter

Published in Botanische Jahrbucher fur Systematik 1 111 (1913) by Schlechter. Hoya collina originates from New Guinea.

Unfortunately my plant has not flowered yet so the picture of the flowers above is from a friends plant.

I have my plant hanging in a southern window without no shading. It also tolerates drought.

I bought my plant named Hoya sp. NG Biakensis a few years ago.

Plant
Leaves: light green, glabrous, a lot of silver flecks
Growth habit: hanging
Flowers
No. in a cluster:
Size:
Colour: light yellow
Form: flat
Scent:
Nectar: yes
Lastingness:

I soon named it Hoya sp. New Guinea Biak Island as it is not correct to latinise the name of a place. This one is also often sold as Hoya biakensis which is also wrong. There is no Hoya with that name.
