Hoya fusca (SV469)

Wallich

Published in Plantae Asiaticae Rariores 1:68 (1830) by Wallich. Hoya fusca originates from Laos, Burma, Thailand, Vietnam etc. The name refers to the colour of the flowers and means brownish.

This clone of Hoya fusca was collected by the Swedes Arne and Margit Kastberg at Mount Victoria in Burma. I bought a cutting of it in 2006 and now almost four years later it flowered for the first time. It is a very big plant which i grow hanging. The stems are almost two metres long so
