Published in The Hoyan 11 (1:2) (1989) by D. Kloppenburg. Hoya heuschkeliana subsp. heuschkeliana originates from the Philippines. Hoya heuschkeliana subsp. heuschkeliana is a small leaved hoya. It grows quite fast and flowers readily, often already as a small cutting. It's probably best grown hanging as it has no climbing abilities. It's easy to grow, likes a lot of light and tolerates some drought. The leaves varies in size, 4-6 cm long and 2-3 cm wide. They are medium green but turn red when grown in sunlight. |
