Hoya heuschkeliana subsp. heuschkeliana is a small leaved hoya. It grows quite fast and flowers readily, often already as a small cutting. It is probably best grown hanging as it has no climbing abilities. I growed mine, when I had it, supported on a trellis but then it needed a lot of help around. It is easy to grow, likes a lot of light and tolerates some drought.  The leaves varies in size, 4-6 cm long and 2-3 cm wide. They are medium green but turn red when grown in sunlight. 

Hoya heuschkeliana subsp. heuschkeliana flowers all year. When 

you've got the first flowers on your plant you will notice that it almost flowers continuously. The flowers are minute, urceolate and if you put your nose really close you can feel a pleasant scent of caramel. 

There is also another subspecies of Hoya heuschkeliana with yellow flowers. It was recently (2007) published as Hoya heuschkeliana subsp. cajanoae.
