Hoya javanica has been circulating as Hoya multiflora for many years. New findings by David Liddle says it shall be named Hoya javanica. Note that this does not apply for all Hoya multiflora in trade, i.e. some of them shall remain namned Hoya multiflora.

I bought Hoya javanica (IML1814) namned Hoya multiflora from David Liddle in 2006. It is easy to grow and flowers readily. It flowers all year and do not need much light, so it is no problem placing it in a northern window. It needs a lot of water. The peduncle flowers only a few times before dropping. The growth of Hoya javanica is shrubby

Plant
Leaves: moss green, 20 cm long, 6-7 cm wide
Growth habit: shrubby
Flowers
No. in a cluster: ~20
Size: 2-2.5 cm
Colour: white/yellow corolla, white corona
Form: reflexed
Scent: no
Nectar: yes
Lastingness: up to 4 weeks

and it only branches if you cut off the top. The leaves are moss green and thin.

The flowers are much paler than the ones on the more common Hoya multiflora in Sweden. The corolla is crystal white, but the tips are pale yellow coloured. Growing this hoya is very rewarding since the flowers last up to 4 weeks! The large clusters, of about 20 flowers, produce a lot of nectar so it can be a real mess to clean up.
