Hoya lacunosa IML 1405 was collected in Barang, Terenggeru, Malay Peninsula. It is a fast grower but it's a more shy bloomer than the other Hoya lacunosas in my collection. It is more yellow in colour and the scent differs very much from the others. It isn't pleasant at all and reminds me of that somewhat poisonous smell of banana skins. 

This is a hoya best suited for the hanging basket although it has climbing abilities. A few cuttings in the

Lastingness: about a week

basket makes a nice looking plant. It tolerates drought, but is growing and flowering much better if it does not dry completely between waterings. You can put it in almost any window and it will thrive there. Just make sure it is not exposed to full sun if placed in south.
