Hoya lacunosa is a favourite of mine. I have some varieties of it, but this one, Hoya lacunosa var. lacunosa, should be the one described by Blume in 1826.

I bought my cutting from David Liddle (IML 0377) in july 2006 and now, a year after, it has become a quite large plant. So, it is a fast grower and it also flowers readily. You can put it in almost any window and it will thrive there. Just make sure it is not exposed to full sun if placed in south.

Plant
Leaves: dark green, silver flecked, 5-12 cm long, 1.5-2 cm wide
Growth habit: hanging/climbing
Flowers
No. in a cluster: 20-30
Size: 6 mm (11 mm measured flat)
Colour: white corolla and corona
Form: revolute
Scent: like perfume
Nectar: some
Lastingness: about a week

This is a hoya best suited for the hanging basket although it has climbing abilities. A few cuttings in the basket makes a nice looking plant. The leaves varies a lot in size, from 5 to 12 cm long, and they have a lot of silver flecks. It tolerates drought, but is growing and flowering much better if it does not dry completely between waterings.
