Hoya lobbii (dark form)

J. D. Hooker

Published in Flora of British India 4 54 (1883) by J. D. Hooker. Hoya lobbii originates from India. Hoya lobbii is named after its collector, Thomas Lobb.

This clone of Hoya lobbii has the darkest flowers. Sometimes they are almost black.

I have had some difficulties growing it, but hopefully it will thrive. The pictures are from the first time it flowered during spring 2010.
