This Hoya multiflora (SV406) is probably not a Hoya multiflora, but until it is correctly identified I will keep the name it had when I bought it. Research is ongoing and I am not sure whether this one should be namned Hoya javanica or something else. No matter what; it is a very nice hoya. It is the most colourful Hoya multiflora I have seen and the flowers are long lasting, about four weeks!

It does not produce nectar in the same amount as my Hoya multiflora (white edges), which is nice because I do not

Plant

Flowers
No. in a cluster: ~ 30
Size: 3 cm (measured flat)
Colour: bright orange corolla, white corona
Form: reflexed

have to clean up a mess everytime it flowers.

I recommend this one for the beginner as it is easy to grow and flowers readily. I have mine in a selfwatering pot so I do not have to water it every once in a while. The plant does not require so much light, which makes it perfect for a northern or a shaded window.
