Hoya nabawanensis (IML1780) |
|
Published in Fraterna 15(2) 2 (2002) by D. Kloppenburg and E-K. Wiberg. Hoya nabawanensis originates from Sabah, Borneo. It is named after the place where it was found. I bought my Hoya nabawanensis (IML1780) from David Liddle in September 2006. It got it in bloom for the first time in june 2007. It's a nice hoya, somewhat resembling Hoya lacunosa, but the flowers are more flat. The cluster is concave, unlike Hoya lacunosa. The corolla is pink at |

the centre. I haven't felt any scent from the flowers, but that doesn't necessarily mean that there is none. Maybe I've just put my nose in the cluster at the wrong time? |
