Hoya neo-ebudica

Published in Bulletin du Muséum National d'Histoire Naturelle Ser. 2 4 294 (1937) by F. R. R. Schlechter. Hoya neo-caledonica originates from Vanuatu (former New Hebrides).

Hoya neo-ebudica grows fast and is an easy hoya to grow. It thrives in room temperature and tolerates drought, but it grows best if it gets water regularly. It has a dense foliage. The leaves are glabrous and light green in colour. It is a good climber and it grabs anything

nearby so you will need to check this one on a regular basis unless you want it entangled in every other plant on your windowsill. It's best grown supported by a trellis.

The flowers are apricot coloured, or a patchy mix of pink and yellow. If you put your nose really close you can sense a sourish scent.
