Hoya pimenteliana is in my experience quite easy to grow. As long as it gets water on a regular basis it's a fast grower. It is a climber and twines very well, so I recommend to grow it supported on a trellis. I grow my plant in a shaded window facing south.  I got my first cutting of this species in May 2006 and now in March 2008 it flowered for the first time. The flowers' scent is somewhat spicy but you have to put your nose really close to feel it. The foliage is very decorative; medium green and nacreous. The leaves are up to 13 cm long and 3 cm wide.

Some say this species is in fact Hoya cagayanensis but I'm not convinced, so I will keep my plant labelled Hoya pimenteliana until further notice. When I have checked the facts I will update this information.
