Hoya siariae is not the fastest grower. After 1½ years my plant is not that big at all. But, it really does not matter because I am so happy it flowers now in November! When it started opening its buds yesterday evening I realised I had to get up really early this morning, 4.20 am, to make sure I got some good pictures of the flowers before I went to work. I just did not want to take any chance risking the flowers had faded when I got back this evening. Well, the flowers have not faded yet so I can enjoy them this evening too!

Plant
Leaves: trinerved, medium green, 15 cm long, 3.5 cm wide
Growth habit: climbing
Flowers
No. in a cluster: ~20
Size: 1.8 cm (measured flat)
Colour: apricot corolla, dark pink corona with yellow centre
Form: campanulate
Scent: no
Nectar: not visible
Lastingness: only a day or two

It is a weak climber so whenever my plant gets bigger I guess it will need some help around the trellis which I am planning to use for this one. I guess it can be grown hanging with good results as well. Some say the flowers are pink, but I think they are more apricot. It might be a result of growing it in flourescent light. The leaves are trinerved, medium green and glabrous. They remind very much of Hoya benguetensis and Hoya blashernaezii.
