Hoya sp. Kuching IML 0232 was collected on Borneo. It has been circulating as Hoya sipitangensis and Hoya walliniana (also collected on Borneo), but I believe none of those names are correct, so I will keep it named Hoya sp. Kuching until further notice. If you have Hoyatelegrafen (#1, 2004), the bulletin of Swedish Hoyasociety, you can compare the profile picture above with those of Hoya sipitangensis and Hoya walliniana and you will see the difference.

Anyway, this is a lovely hoya well worth growing. It flowers

Leaves: light green, glabrous 8 cm long, 3 cm wide
Growth habit: hanging/creeping
Flowers
No. in a cluster: ~40 
Size: 6 mm (9 mm measured flat)
Colour: white (shifting to yellow) corolla, red corona
Form: revolute
Scent: weak, reminds me of clove
Nectar: not visible
Lastingness: about a week

a few times during summer and it does not seem to need any extra attention. It tolerates drought and can be placed in a very light postion. The leaves are light green, glabrous and have some silverflecks. If exposed to direct sunlight the leaves turn red.
