Hoya stoneana has been circulating as Hoya longifolia (pubescent form) for years. It was recently published as Hoya stoneana. I actually got one plant named Hoya dennisii, but it is a mistake of a hoya grower here in Sweden.

Hoya stoneana grows on high altitudes in the wild and therefore prefers colder temperatures. It thrives in my garden room although the windows are facing south. When the sun comes back in spring I will take my plant from the window.

Plant
Leaves: pubescent, dark green, 12 cm long, 2 cm wide
Growth habit: hanging
Flowers
No. in a cluster: 10-15
Size: 2 cm
Colour: yellowish white corolla, white corona
Form: flat
Scent: yes
Nectar: a little
Lastingness: ~10 days

The leaves are long and narrow and slightly pubescent. They are dark green and quite shiny. Although Hoya stoneana has some climbing abilities I think this species looks best hanging. The hairy flowers remind of Hoya thomsonii, but when looking at the back side I think they look more like Hoya serpens. Unfortunately the scent is not very enjoyable. Luckily the scent is not very strong.
