I bought my Hoya telosmoides (IML 1747) from David Liddle in September 2006. One year after it flowered for the first time.

Hoya telosmoides is a somewhat odd hoya. The urceolate shape of the flowers differs a lot from most others. The corona is not visible when it flowers. The colour of the flowers is greenish yellow. This hoya likes cooler temperatures so I grow it in my garden room. It thrives there and is in my opinion quite fast growing. I try not to

let it dry completely between waterings. If grown cool the flowers last very long, up to 4 weeks.

I have not decided yet whether I shall grow my plant supported by a trellis or if I should let it hang down. In my experience the branches grow quite fast but it does not seem to develop new branches easily. So I guess I need to hang this plant high if I choose not to support it.

Below is a picture of the corona and a picture of the buds.
